| Philips | 32pw6515 | hi my philips tv (32pw6515) is now stuck in standby (red led on) and no responce from either the on-board controls or remote?
| the fault on your philips tv is probably ic7064. also known as the painter ic, on the small signal board, this ic seems to be responsible for over 90% of faults on this chassis. it is a 100 pin surface mount device. i would not recommend trying to replace it unless you have a good amount of experience at soldering very small devices as it is not much bigger than a stamp, you will also need to reprogramme the eeprom ic with the options and geometry settings after replacement, i have done more than 30 and it takes me upto 2 hours | Anonymous | 31-10-2005 |
